During 80 years of research and development, we accumulated safety data for around 3,000 types of raw material. When it comes to introducing new raw materials, we also apply our own rules to ensure the safety of raw materials, including those for which all the ingredients are known and those for which traceability is assured.

Once the formulation has been confirmed, acceleration test is carried out to test whether a stable quality can be retained after the manufacturing process. These tests can also determine the stability of products even under adverse conditions, such as in high-temperature environments or when exposed to ultraviolet rays.

Conduct various safety tests with the aim of achieving 100% reliability and safety. Cosmetics can be contaminated by bacteria unintentionally in the course of their use, such as when scooping up cream with a finger or by leaving the cap off. Preservative efficacy testing, a test that determines the safety of a product by injecting bacteria into it, is performed to verify preservative efficacy. We aim for 100% safety.

Final check is carried out by an inspection Specialist who has passed the company’s own sensory test. An inspector checks the smell, color, and state of the contents using all his or her senses. The inspector also checks with meticulous care for dirt on the container or packaging, and for any damages.
